We automate what can be automated. We translate legislation into concrete steps. We ask the company only for the information that cannot be pulled automatically.
TRACES via API — automatic DDS upload
You do not have to learn the TRACES UI. Our platform fills and uploads declarations via API. We manage reference numbers correctly along the chain.
DetailsGeoJSON from forest districts
For logging companies we have GeoJSON from state and partner private forest districts. You talk once with the district you buy from — we do the rest.
DetailsSUMAL 2.0 integration — free
Transport notices, APVs already in SUMAL flow directly into the EUDR records. No double entry, no extra cost.
DetailsWe translate legislative changes
New EUDR standard or Commission guidance — we read it, you get only the practical change you need to make. You do not legally interpret a directive.
FIFO for mixed stock
At sawmills, warehouses and importers — wherever lots mix in stock — we apply FIFO to correctly attribute declarations to sold products. No FIFO needed when you ship directly from the harvest site (APV), and if you use lot barcodes we integrate your system.
Simple client access to declarations
Uploaded declarations are linked to the transport notice, APV and invoice. Any of your clients opens our access page, enters the code from the document they received, and sees the related declaration(s) — smart and simple, no emails.
DetailsCustom EUDR compliance solutions
Our packaged EUDR service with public pricing is offered on the Romanian market, in Romanian. For operators and traders elsewhere in Europe, we build custom EUDR compliance solutions on the same proven platform: due diligence statement (DDS) submission to TRACES via API, geolocation and GeoJSON data pipelines, FIFO traceability for mixed stock, supplier data collection, and client-facing access to declaration references.
Every deployment is scoped per requirement — your commodity flows, your ERP landscape, your role under the regulation (operator or trader) — and delivered as a project with a written proposal. No off-the-shelf pricing: the right solution depends on your supply chain.
We are also actively looking for consultants and organizations across Europe to co-develop standard compliance solutions — ESG, EUDR or scheme-specific — platforms built around the needs of a specific standard or requirement.
Who must comply with EUDR
EUDR classifies companies into three roles, with different obligations. We help you establish the correct classification for each commercial flow.
Operators
Companies that first place wood products on the EU market: forestry exploiters, importers of sawn wood or finished wood products. Main obligation: file a DDS in TRACES before first placing on the market.
E.g.: Forestry exploiters, sawn-wood importers, furniture importers
Traders
Companies that sell, buy, or transfer wood products already on the EU market: sawmills, sawn-wood warehouses, distributors. Main obligation: take over DDS reference numbers from upstream suppliers.
E.g.: Sawmills, sawn-wood warehouses, pallet and packaging distributors
Small traders (SME)
Small companies (micro-enterprises and SMEs) trading wood products. They benefit from simplified obligations: they do not have to re-file a DDS, only to maintain traceability of the received reference numbers.
E.g.: Small joineries, furniture retail, workshops
How it works
Four steps from the first conversation to full compliance.
Initial conversation
Fill in the form on this page. We respond within 24 hours and schedule a 30-minute call to understand the scope of activity and the commercial flows.
Assessment and personalized offer
We analyze the EUDR role (operator, trader, or small trader), the products covered, and the number of harvest plots involved. We send a firm quote within 2-3 business days.
Implementation (4-8 weeks)
We build the DDS system, draft the procedures, collect the harvest-plot geolocations, train staff, and prepare the first TRACES filings.
TRACES filing and continuous support
We file DDS in TRACES, manage reference numbers, assist with inspections, and track standard updates. 1 year of continuous support included, renewable.
EUDR FAQ
When does EUDR enter into force?
For the timber sector, EUDR applies from 30 December 2026 — for all company sizes. Regulation (EU) 2025/2650, adopted in December 2025, postponed application and simplified obligations, but the timber sector does not benefit from the June 2027 extension (which only covers micro/small enterprises in other sectors), having previously been covered by EUTR.
Are we an operator or a trader?
An operator is a company that first places wood products on the EU market (forestry exploiters, importers). A trader is a company that sells, buys, or transfers wood products already on the EU market (sawmills, warehouses, retailers). Obligations differ significantly; we help you establish the correct classification for each commercial flow.
What is geolocation in EUDR?
EUDR requires the geographic coordinates of all lands from which the wood originates (harvest u.a. / management unit). For plots under 4 hectares a point is accepted; over 4 hectares a complete polygon in GeoJSON format is required. We collect coordinates from suppliers, validate them against deforestation maps, and format them for TRACES filing.
Do we need to integrate with TRACES?
Yes. TRACES is the European Commission’s official platform where due diligence statements (DDS) are filed. Each operator files a DDS before first placing products on the market; traders take over the DDS reference number from upstream. We prepare your account, upload the DDS, and maintain the reference-number records.
What are the penalties for non-compliance?
The regulation provides for fines of up to 4% of EU-wide annual turnover, confiscation of products and proceeds, temporary ban on placing products on the market and on participating in public procurement. Concrete penalties will be set at national level; in Romania the enforcement framework is being prepared through the Ministry of Environment and the Forestry Guard.
How long does implementation take?
For a small or medium company, standard implementation takes 4-8 weeks: 1-2 weeks for assessment and data collection, 2-3 weeks for procedures and geolocation, 1-2 weeks for training and the first TRACES filing. We work in parallel with the company’s daily activity.
FSC or PEFC experience
We work daily with wood traceability through our certification scheme.
